The Pharma-Nutrition 2011 programme will be featuring a Young Investigator Award which is designed to acknowledge research contributions that further the development and knowledge on the interface between nutrition and pharma.

Criteria

The award is open to all presenting authors under the age 35. The four criteria for judging are:

• Originality of research concept.
• Soundness of research design.
• Quality/clarity of research report.
• Perceived value of the research to Pharma-Nutrition.

Selection Process

From all eligible abstracts ten outstanding submissions will be nominated for the award.  These selected abstracts will be judged during the first two days of the conference. Three final nominees will be selected to present a 5 minute oral presentation during the opening session on Day 3. One outstanding young investigator will be selected as the recipient of the award, and will receive a certificate and a €500 cash prize.
