We have now closed the abstract submissions for Pharma-Nutrition 2011. We have received over 140 abstracts and will be reviewing these over the holiday period. We have now released the preliminary programme for the April 2011 Pharma-Nutrition conference focused on the interface between pharma and nutrition research. The programme has been designed to not only explore the overarching themes of pharma and nutrition through state of the art plenary sessions, but also features sessions focused on specific therapeutic areas. This multidisciplinary programme addresses the cutting edge research issues in both nutrition and pharma life sciences.
The invited speakers for Pharma-Nutrition have now been confirmed. These speakers are the key thought leaders specialised in the interface between food and pharma each representing the broad therapeutic areas covered by the conference programme. The first preliminary programme is still set to be announced next week, however for a preview of what to expect. Pharma-Nutrition, the new international scientific conference organised by Elsevier, the leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, aims to discuss the latest research, concepts and practical applications of medical nutrition in patient treatments, disease management and patient outcomes. Pharma-Nutrition is set to take place 18-20 April 2011 at Amsterdam’s NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.
Submissions are now being accepted for Pharma-Nutrition 2011. Topics areas which are being accepted include: Pharmacology of food, systems biology of pharma-nutrition, food-pharma interactions, oncology, cardiovascular, endocrinology, COPD/asthma, allergy, neurology, inflammatory disease and infectious diseases. Deadline is the 3rd December.
The first Pharma-Nutrition conference will be held at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 18-20th April 2011. This will be the first time we are bringing together both the food and pharma communities to discuss practical applications of medical nutrition with the aim to improving patient outcomes.
